The feeling I get when I watch a fast-approaching evening storm against the backdrop of a secluded beach is palpable... I spend a lot of time at this beach, both in the winter and summer, and I love it always... but I love it best when there's a storm coming.

Rich streams of crushed Coquina flow from the Matanzas Inlet, that opens to the sea 10 miles from this spot. The result is a shelly sand layer that shines like gold. Most love soft white sand. Give me Coquina. It's like me. Imperfect.
